The Community Leader program builds on DOT’s 15-year history of cultivating passionate community facilitators who inspire and empower more vulnerable youth in their communities. A university degree is desirable but not a program requirement. The program is well suited to individuals with a passion to support positive social impact by facilitating community capacity building programs. Community Leaders build facilitation skills through theory and community practice. Candidates with strong digital competencies are given preferential selection in regions where community digital capacity development is an impact focus.
